Right and consequences of revocation

Consumers are entitled to a right of revocation pursuant to Section 355 of the BGB (German Civil Code) for distance selling contracts. As a consumer, you therefore have the right to revoke your contractual commitment in accordance with the following notification regarding revocation:

You have the right to revoke this contract within fourteen days without providing grounds.

The revocation period amounts to fourteen days starting from the day on which you or a third party that you have named, who is not the carrier, have/has taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of revocation, you must inform us (Dannenfelser Kindermöbel, GF: Dirk Dannenfelser, Seebarg 13, D-22397 Hamburg/Germany, Tel.: +49 (0)40 18034441; e-mail: customer@dannenfelser.eu) of your decision to revoke this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You can used the enclosed sample revocation form for this, but it is not a requirement.

For compliance with the revocation period, it is sufficient if you send the message about exercising the right of revocation before the revocation period expires.

Consequences of revocation

If you revoke this contract then we are to promptly return all payments that we have received from you including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from you selecting a method of delivery other than the most inexpensive standard delivery offered by us) within fourteen days starting from the day on which we received notification of your revocation of this contract. For this repayment we shall use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction unless something different has been explicitly arranged with you; in no event will you be charged fees for this repayment. We shall pick up the goods. The seller shall bear the costs for the return shipment.

You must compensate for any loss of value of the goods only if this loss of value results from handling of the goods that is not necessary in order to check their condition, properties and function.
