All ROOM STAR children's furniture and accessories are painted with water based inks, which conform to the EN standard 71-3.
Colors that comply with DIN EN 71-3, are sweat and saliva. They can be used safely in children. Waterborne coatings, paints and glazes can be very good and enjoyable process. Water-soluble colors are also more breathable than other colors.
The EN 71-3 regulates the migration of certain elements, it specifies the requirements for toy materials and toy parts, and test methods for the migration of certain elements. It also regulates the surface condition, among others, children's furniture and thus it ideally to be used lacquers.
